Description: On World NTD Day, we will invite multiple actors from different sectors such as: health professionals who manage the program of vector-borne diseases (Dengue, Chikungunya, Malaria and leishmaniasis) in the municipality, community leaders who work tirelessly for the well-being of their communities, professionals in the education sector, among others. They will participate in an informative talk that will last 2 hours, to explain about how these diseases affect the population, how they are transmitted, what are their symptoms and warning signs, how to properly manage them, what preventive measures can be taken, which are the myths and realities that exist around them, which therapeutic actions are appropriate and which are not, and other key aspects to raise awareness and call the community to action for prevention and appropriate management of NTDs. During the radio program, the live audience will be invited to participate, who may, by telephone, share experiences or make specific questions, which will be resolved by the group of invited experts in a final session of the program. This is intended to reach dispersed rural communities in a dynamic way providing guidance and information to every corner of the municipality where they listen to us.
