Global achievements
By end of 2024, 54 countries had eliminated an NTD, meaning we’re more than halfway towards reaching the WHO’s goal of 100 countries eliminating at least one NTD by 2030.
The time to #UniteActEliminate is now to capitalise on the health gains we have made in fighting neglected tropical diseases.

Priority themes
Neglected tropical diseases (NTDs) are particularly sensitive to climate change. We must adopt an integrated One Health approach to ensure those living in areas that are most likely to experience environmental change are not at risk.
