Description: On the occasion of first-ever World NTD Day, Public Health Update will develop and launch website and social media campaigns on Neglected Tropical Diseases among medical students, public health students and healthcare providers to raise awareness on NTDs. Our social media platforms will also display messages related to NTDs to raise awareness among our audiences.
We are also planning to conduct an online competition (Health Quiz) on Neglected Tropical Diseases among medical students, public health students and healthcare providers in partnership with the Public Health Youth Society of Nepal. The main objective of this quiz is to increase awareness and motivate healthcare providers to celebrate World NTD in their workplaces and communities.
Public Health Update in collaboration with the Public Health Youth Society of Nepal (PHYSoN) is also planning to celebrate World NTD Day through organizing different in-person activities in Pokhara, Nepal.
