Description: “Bilharziose day” is the theme of the event. It will be held in the remote area called Marolambo, far from the capital of Madagascar, with a high prevalence of schistosomiasis. The goal is to sensitize people on the link between “Schistosomiasis-WASH-Fish conservation” in the Nosivolo River, Marolambo through posters, flyers, videos, quizzes, radio animation etc. The target people is focused on children and youth because the messages reach them quickly. The potential impact is the behavior change on the use of the river.
