Description: The UK Chagas Hub will announce the kick off of the preparations for the first ever World Chagas Disease Day, on the 14 April 2020. On that day, we will aim to raise health care professionals and public awareness of Chagas Disease, in order to increase testing rates in the UK for this largely undiagnosed disease. A range of events will be organised in London and will be advertised using our local networks and social media. Increasing the testing rates will allow to describe our current epidemiology and to estimate the impact of potential interventions, for example, routine at-risk groups´screening.
