Description: IDEA members who have experienced Hansen’s disease/leprosy hosted a celebration to bring awareness to the disease. It was attended by Members of Parliament, other high ranking government officials, school administrators, college students, and health workers, with the support of local and international ILEP members.

IDEA members who have experienced Hansen’s disease/leprosy participated in a lecture at Eversley Childs Sanitarium on the treatment of the disease and prevention of disabilities, by providing information and answering questions on the psychological and social aspects of the disease.
