In Dakar, Senegal, not-for-profit organization Speak Up Africa joins the Youssou Ndour Foundation, Social Change Factory and the Civil Society says No to NTD Network, to host a video screening and panel discussion to raise awareness on NTDs and engage Senegalese youth in the fight to eliminate these diseases.

We elected to promote the day on all social media platforms that we are listed on and we encountered numerous likes and comments.
On World NTD Day, the VALIDATE Network shared a blog post and social media posts highlighting the importance of beating NTDs, and the research by VALIDATE and its members to accelerate vaccine development for leishmaniasis and leprosy (as well as melioidosis and tuberculosis).
